miss tennessee:

how i learned to stop worrying and love the south

A satirical magazine that examines Southern stereotypes through both a personal and political lens. The work draws from my upbringing in Nashville, Tennessee, and the aesthetics of advertising and suburban domestic culture to explore contradictions within the American South, particularly around gender, religion, and right-wing nostalgia. All photography, writing, and design by me.

BItch Mess

This book focuses on themes of post-adolescence, bad decisions, religion, and shame. Through juxtaposing images and the use of religious symbols like the cross, water, and blood feelings of chaos and disorderliness emerge as the main character struggles to find herself.
